My 600lb Life Star Reveals Stunning Weight Loss Journey After Guinness Record As World’s Heaviest Woman

Pauline Potter’s life drastically changed after she had to depend on a motorized scooter to move around, weighing an incredible 50 stone (700lb).

She has turned her life around, losing over half her body weight and inspiring countless others with her determination.

Her journey to such an extreme weight began as a personal challenge after her husband revealed his attraction to larger women.

However, Pauline was taken aback when she officially entered the Guinness World Records as the World’s Heaviest Living Woman.

“I thought if I contacted them and put myself out there, someone might be able to help me.”

“When they got back to me to say I’d been recognised as the world’s fattest woman I was shocked,” Pauline admitted after achieving the record back in 2012.

The TLC reality star confessed that there was a time when she embraced her large size with pride.

However, she acknowledged that things eventually spiraled out of control, making even simple movements an overwhelming challenge.

“I used to love being big, but it went too far. It’s too difficult for me to even get up now. Someone has to pull my head while I rock myself into a standing position,” she shared when reflecting on her struggles before embarking on her weight loss journey.

She explained her daily routines, adding: “I have a walk-in bath and I sit on a stool with a flexible shower head on a lead.

“There’s a lot of work involved. With lots of rolls of flesh you can get infection in the folds.

“To prevent this, I wash every day, dry myself thoroughly and then rub corn starch into the folds around my stomach and behind my knees.

“My son has to help me when there are areas I can’t reach.”
